Suspect Points Gun At Man & Woman At Convenience Store, But He Doesn’t Know That The Woman Is Carrying

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI — The old saying goes; An armed society is a polite society. I like that one, but I like this one a little better: An armed society is a prepared society.

Just after 11 am on Wednesday, a man walked into a convenience store and announced a robbery by way of pointing his gun at two people inside. Those two people, a 55-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, acted in very different ways.

The man began removing money from the register to give to the armed robber, but the woman had other plans.

She pulled out a gun of her own and fired several shots at the suspect, sending him running faster than he’s likely ever had to run in his life.

It is not known if he was struck by any of the woman’s bullets.

Neither the man nor the woman inside the store were injured during the incident.

These moments are tense, and require quick and decisive action. This armed woman made the decision to act with lethal force, and it could have saved both of their lives. Sometimes, the robbers are just after the money. Other times, however, they have no problem shooting any potential witnesses dead.

The woman in this case wasn’t going to find out the outcome, and changed the narrative on her own.
