Armed Homeowner Confronts And Shoots At 3 Intruders During Nighttime Invasion

LOGAN, UTAH — A home invasion in Logan on Saturday morning led to a shooting incident, as reported by Logan City Police. Around 2:15 a.m., at a residence near 280 Bridger Drive, three intruders reportedly entered a home, leading to a confrontation with the homeowner. The homeowner responded by shooting at the intruders.

Police, responding to a 911 call, discovered a male with a gunshot wound in the abdomen in the driveway of the house. The injured individual was initially taken to Logan Regional Hospital and later transferred to another regional hospital for serious, yet non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations led to the discovery of a white truck allegedly associated with the incident. Police subsequently stopped this vehicle near 800 N. 100 W. and detained two people inside for questioning.

The Logan City Police are actively investigating the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the main suspect is hospitalized.
