UPDATE: Police say an arrest has been made, however the name of the suspect has yet not been released.
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — Police have shared new images of a motorcyclist involved in an altercation where a car’s rear windshield was smashed, with two kids in the back seat. The images from Tuesday display the biker’s face, his helmet atop his head. The motorcyclist, in a group of ATV and dirt bike riders, was around Philadelphia City Hall on Sunday evening.
During the event, the biker broke the rear window of a car using his feet. When confronted by the car’s driver, Nikki Bullock, he pointed a handgun at her, which had fallen from his waist. A video captured by a local affiliate revealed the altercation but obscured the biker’s face with his helmet.
Nikki Bullock, who was delivering for Uber Eats with her girlfriend and their two young children, was sideswiped by the motorcyclist near City Hall. An altercation ensued, leading to the biker threatening her with the gun. Bullock confronted the biker, noting, “He already went through the windshield. I might as well get out.” The biker eventually fled with his group, leaving Bullock and her family unharmed.
Bullock reported the incident to the police, expressing relief that her children were unhurt, stating, “They are OK, not a single scratch.”
District Attorney Larry Krasner described the motorcyclist’s actions as “completely outrageous,” vowing that anyone endangering others with such behavior will face serious consequences.
Luckily, Bullock wasn’t injured during this terrifying incident, and she’s lucky. Confronting someone with a gun is never a good idea, and he could have easily pulled the trigger as she didn’t back down. Instead, giving yourself space to drive away from a situation like this should take priority over confrontation, regardless of how angry one may be in the moment.
