Total Embarrassment As Escaped Murderer In PA Escapes Police Perimeter, Traveled North In Stolen Van

Danelo Cavalcante, a convict serving a life sentence for the 2021 murder of his ex-girlfriend, has been sighted near Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, evading authorities more than a week since his escape from Chester County Prison on August 31. Pennsylvania State Police reported that he was recently observed near a local town, a considerable distance away from the initially established search perimeter.

On Saturday night, home security footage revealed Cavalcante wearing what appeared to be a green or yellow hooded sweater, green prison trousers, and a black baseball cap. He also stole a white Ford Transit van identified by its refrigeration unit on the roof. This vehicle was reported stolen from Baily’s Dairy, and has Pennsylvania license plates. Notably, Cavalcante, originally from Brazil and wanted there for another murder, has been in the U.S. unlawfully.

His prison escape was marked by a daring act involving scaling walls and fences and navigating through razor wire. The previous sighting of him was near Kennett Square, close to Longwood Gardens. Authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings promptly.

Longwood Gardens was the focus for the last few days, with police certain that Cavalcante was located inside their established perimeter. While they were surrounding the area last night, the stolen vehicle was tagged by a license plate reader at 10:17am that morning heading north.
