Woman Turns Tables On 4 Burglars, Shooting 2 And Sending 2 Running

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — In a late-night incident on Sunday, a Philadelphia woman defended her home against four burglars by shooting two of them. The event unfolded around 1 a.m. on Germantown Avenue, where the men were found intruding into her residence. On arriving home, the woman discovered the trespassers, leading to a heated confrontation that resulted in her shooting two of the intruders who then fled the scene.

Responding officers discovered one of the wounded men, identified as Jermaine Parker, 48, on the street nearby. After receiving immediate on-site medical aid, he was transferred to Einstein Medical Center for further treatment. Shortly after, another man, identified as Randy Miller, 45, was found injured on East Seymour Street and also brought to the hospital for medical attention.

Both Parker and Miller, who are in stable but critical condition, have been apprehended and charged with burglary among other related offenses by the local authorities. Meanwhile, information about the remaining two suspects involved in the attempted burglary remains unclear.
