Report: Burglar Shatters Window, Shot and Killed By Armed Homeowner

VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON — A Vancouver homeowner shot and killed a man who attempted to burglarize his house.

The incident occurred Thursday, December 16th at around 11:20 p.m., according to KTAU.

The suspect allegedly attempted to enter a home in the 2900 block of Northeast 157th Court.

The suspect broke the second floor window of a residence at that location and attempted to gain entry. He was confronted by the homeowner who subsequently shot him.

The suspect was found deceased at the scene. The case remains under investigation by Vancouver PD’s Major Crimes Unit.
