Jackson Shooting Following Road Rage Incident Determined To Be Self-Defense

JACKSON, TENNESSEE — A shooting that started after a road rage incident last week was determined to be self-defense.

Jackson police released an update on an incident that occurred on November 23rd. The shooting occurred near Old Humbart Road and Jeremiah Drive, in northwest Jackson. The shooting followed a road rage incident that started on Passmore Lane, near the Highway 45 bypass.

29-year-old John Eric Henderson was shot following the road rage incident. Police state that evidence that included video footage lead to a determination of self-defense.

The case has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office for review. No charges are pending at this time.
