[GRAPHIC WARNING] Former NFL Player Violently Attacks Ex-Girlfriend In Front Of 5-Month-Old

Published

Former New York Jets running back Zac Stacy is likely to face domestic violence charges after multiple videos surfaced that appear to show Stacy attacking his ex-girlfriend inside her home. The videos come from home surveillance cameras inside the home, showing multiple angles of the attack.

In the video, Stacy can be seen punching the woman, throwing her into a television, and throwing her to the ground. Their 5-month-old child can be heard crying in the background as the attack occurred.

The woman called 911 immediately after, and a restraining order was soon filed.

The video below is graphic and shows clear domestic violence. Viewer discretion is advised.

This may or may not have been the first incident of domestic violence between the two, but it’s clear that what happened was completely terrifying and could have resulted in significant injuries. As a personal defense website, we cover stories such as this one on a regular basis, but the outcomes are different. In some instances, the victim was prepared and defended themselves. In many others, that wasn’t the case.

Just today, we published a story about an estranged husband who went to his in-laws house to find his wife, and wound up shooting all 3 people who were hiding inside a room. The woman in this story also had a restraining order against the husband, and no means of defending herself if the time came.

It is sometimes hard to imagine a person hurting us who we believe could never be capable of such a thing, but it happens all too often. Recognizing and understanding that you’re in a dangerous situation is one of the first steps to getting out.

If you are a victim of domestic abuse, there is help available. You can call 800.799.SAFE (7233) as well, being mindful of call history and browser history with whichever method you choose.
