FedEx Mass Shooting: 8 Dead, Dozens Injured, Suspect Takes Own Life

Published

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA — Late Thursday night, a gunman opened fire outside and inside a FedEx hub in Indianapolis, and dozens of people are reported to have been injured. Police confirmed during a press conference that 8 people were found dead at the scene.

Police arrived quickly and came upon an ‘active shooting incident’, and shortly after the suspect was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The investigation is extremely active and will be ongoing for some time.

FedEx reportedly has a company policy within their hub locations that employees cannot have their cell phone while working. As a result, employees were likely unable to make phone calls to police and loved ones during the incident. Since that announcement made public, it seems that FedEx is going to ‘re-evaluate its policy’.

That’s a great policy to get rid of, along with their ‘gun free zone’ which leaves sitting ducks.

This is a developing story.
