An armed person is generally prepared, but we need to train and be aware of our surroundings. This guy does at least the latter, and he was able to successfully defend himself against a man who was trying to rob him.
As he walks to his car, he gets his gun out from the small of his back. That’s not an ideal location, but nevertheless that’s where he had it. This move was probably due to his getting into the car and getting the gun in a different position.
Next, after he sits down and closes the door, a man comes up on him. That man is in for a surprise, as he is fired on almost immediately.
He runs, stumbles, and that’s the end of this self-defense shooting.
