Throughout the years, I learned each individual’s EDC is very personal to them. Their choice of gun, knife, light ect is intimate and personal. It makes sense because those very items could help be responsible for saving their life one day. Because guns, knives and other EDC items are vast and different, seldom are two people’s EDC systems. Coupled with shooters preferences and various body sizes, it’s safe to say, most EDC systems are quite different.
It is imperative that carriers choose a handgun they shoot well, is reliable and carries comfortably. If you look at the handgun choices today, it is clear we are living in the “golden age” of firearms. Everything from sub-compact 1911’s to full-size revolvers are available. Some people carry a micro-size .380 ACP in the pocket and others choose a large competition size pistol to carry on their hip. Then we can talk about pocket carry versus holster carry but that’s a different topic for a different day.

I enjoy sharing my EDC system on video. I received hundreds of comments from people offering their advice and sharing their everyday carry system. It is helpful to share quality products and successful ideals with other carriers. Having carried a gun for over 15 years, I can honestly say that I’ve learned a lot from other people. On occasion, I have taken their ideas and crafted them to fit my style.
With the video above, I spoke about my thoughts and ideas on the guns I carry. I explored a couple different knives along with some other EDC products. Check it out and let us know your thoughts about my EDC system. Equally important, share with us your everyday carry system. Hopefully, together we will all be better prepared.
