Home Invasion Goes South for Thug… Learns Lesson of a Lifetime

Published

SPRINGFIELD, IL — When one thug looked for an easy broad daylight break-in in Springfield, Illinois, they were sorely disappointed.

WCIX reports that the intruder got a bullet for their trouble, and although they survived the encounter, I expect that they’ll be ruing their bad decision for the rest of their life.

As WCIX reports:

One person is in stable condition after being shot. It happened about 12:45 pm, in the 1800-block of East Keys Street.

Police responded to a report of a home invasion. When they arrived, they found the homeowner reported shooting someone who forced entry into the home.

The suspect is hospitalized with a gunshot wound and is being treated. The incident is being investigated.

When you play stupid games, folks, you win stupid prizes.

Let this serve as a reminder to all of you to have a firearm, loaded, ready, and on hand, in the home.

Just because you’re home, doesn’t mean you are immune to the need for self-defense.

Stay safe out there, folks. You never know when something like this might happen.
