LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS — An suspect is fighting for his life after an alleged attempted theft on a couple at a parking deck in Little Rock, Arkansas, as reported by local law enforcement.
The authorities apprehended 37-year-old Markevious King, in connection to the incident that occurred on Memorial Day.
The report detailed that a woman was seated in the front of the car while two young ones were in the back, as a man was busy attaching a wagon to the vehicle’s rooftop. The woman told police how King ambushed the man from behind, punching him repeatedly before he got into the driver’s seat and assaulted her.
Frightened for her own safety and that of her loved ones, she reached for a handgun and fired at King, hitting his head and neck region.
King collapsed, prompting the woman to dial emergency services.
Upon the police’s arrival, they discovered King lying outside the vehicle’s driver’s side. Medical help was administered, and he was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
