Intruders stormed into a home in TX where a homeowner was there with his roommate’s son working on a computer. Caught completely off guard, the robbers tied him up so he couldn’t get away while they went through the home.
“I looked up once 15 minutes into it and the guy said if you look up again we’ll kill you,” the victim said.
Lucky for him, he was able to scoot over to a gun safe when the intruders left the room for a few minutes. How he was able to get his firearm out of the safe and fire it, I’m not quite sure. But once he had the gun in his hands, he pointed it right at the doors until they opened.
Then, he unloaded on the intruders. He hit two of the intruders, while the other one got away. The two that were injured were taken to the hospital and both have apparently undergone surgery to remove their brand new lead implants.
“A part of me wishes I killed them and a part of me wishes I could forgive them and they turn their lives around,” said as he reflected on the frightening experience.
This is a great example of why I carry at home. My firearm is in the same location as it is throughout the entire day when I’m out and about. If intruders storm into my home, I’m ready to rock if I’m carrying.
