Woman Shoots Brother After He Attacked Her Husband With Pipe

WARNER ROBINS, GEORGIA — On Friday evening, a domestic altercation in Warner Robins resulted in a 62-year-old man being hospitalized following a shooting. Officers were dispatched to 109 Gordon Street at approximately 5 p.m. following a distress call. The caller, a 60-year-old woman, reported she had shot her brother, who was assaulting her husband with a pipe.

According to the police report, the shooting occurred when the brother did not cease his attack. The injured man was transported to Atrium Health Navicent for medical care, while the caller’s husband was taken to Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins for treatment.

The identities of those involved have not been disclosed as the incident is under investigation as a case of domestic violence.
