Chad Doerman, a 32-year-old Ohio man, has been accused of fatally shooting his three sons, aged 3, 4, and 7, at their home. Authorities have charged Doerman with aggravated murder.

During his arraignment, it was revealed that he had planned the killings and even hunted down one son who tried to escape. Doerman also allegedly wounded the boys’ mother, who survived the attack and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Clermont County’s chief prosecutor, David Gast, described the crime as the worst he’d ever seen.

Deputies responded to 911 calls reporting the incident and found the boys at the scene, where they were pronounced dead.

Doerman’s bail has been set at $20 million, and he is currently detained in Clermont County Jail. As of now, a motive behind the shootings has not been disclosed.

The video below shows the moments after the shooting when police arrived and placed Doerman into custody.
