Why We Carry: Woman Arrested After Allegedly Beating Elderly Woman For No Reason Whatsoever

Published

JENSEN BEACH, FLORIDA — Two shoppers in Florida were beaten outside different stores in unprovoked attacks by the same woman, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, according to reports.

The first incident was recorded on a security camera outside a Best Buy in Jensen Beach, 115 miles north of Miami, according to The Sacramento Bee.

You can watch the video here. I’m not going to embed it, because it’s a bit graphic.

The video showed the victim standing by her car when an SUV driver blocked her in, got out, and began to beat the woman viciously. The attacker then picked up something to throw at the victim before driving away.

The victim was seriously injured. An hour later, the same woman reportedly attacked another person in the same manner at the shopping plaza across the street.

The attacker was identified as 33-year-old Calene Gabriel and was arrested after an investigation.

She has been charged with aggravated battery and battery on a person 65 or older. The motive behind the attacks is still unknown, but the victims are believed to have done nothing to provoke the attacker.
