HOUSTON, TEXAS — A pair of criminals decided to carjack a man and his truck, forcing him into the back of his vehicle at gunpoint.

Before the attempted carjacking, they came up to the owner of the truck and asked for a ride. When the man refused, the two walked away. . .only to come back a short time later.

Little did they know that their intended ‘victim’ was also armed. Once he was forced out of the driver’s seat and into the back of the truck at gunpoint, he reached into his waistband and retrieved his firearm, shooting at the carjackers.

One carjacker was hit and collapsed a short distance away while trying to run. He died on the scene.

The other carjacker took off and has not yet been captured.

The armed citizen was not injured and is not expected to face any charges.
