Armed Waffle House Employee Allegedly Stops Attack In South Carolina

CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA — An armed employee of a South Carolina Waffle House stopped an armed attack by two men.

The altercation took place on December 22nd, according to reports. The incident occurred at the Waffle House located on Highway 544 in Conway. Two men reportedly entered the establishment, jumped the counter and began assaulting the employee.

One of the men displayed a handgun during the assault, As the men started to leave, they were confronted by the employee who had a handgun. The two men fired at the employee, who returned fire.

Extensive damage could reportedly be seen at the restaurant. The employee advised police that he did not wish to prosecute his assailants. The employee stated he did not know the identity of his attackers.
