BREAKING: DHS States That Firearm Manufacturers And Retailers Are Essential Businesses

With businesses being forced to close in different parts of the Country that are deemed ‘non-essential’ during this pandemic, many in the firearms industry have been shut down, while many others worry if they’ll be next.

Today, the Department of Homeland Security issued a lengthy statement that provides guidance on the ‘Essential critical infrastructure workers’ during the outbreak.

The important part for the firearms industry:

Workers supporting the operation of firearm or ammunition product manufacturers, retailers, importers, distributors, and shooting ranges.

It’s been a wild ride so far, but this clarification speaks volumes as to how important the firearms industry is to America, it’s workers, first responders and citizens.
