BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT — A man who allegedly drove up to a group of people on the road and opened fire, was arrested after one of them returned fire.
The incident happened late this past Thursday, and the concealed carrier acted quickly once the bullets started flying.
Although the shooter’s bullets didn’t hit anyone, another person — who holds a valid pistol permit — returned fire at the shooter, Jones said.

The initial shooter was arrested, but the name, age and charges of that person were not provided Saturday. The person who returned fire acted in self-defense, Jones said, and was not charged by police.
Luckily for the group, this guy was a bad shot and missed them all.
The details surrounding the incident are scarce, but highlights our need to be ready at a moment’s notice, and just how important it is to be aware of what’s happening around us.
