Police just confirmed that 10 people lost their lives today at a mass shooting that occurred in and outside a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado.
The suspect was taken into custody after the incident, after being engaged by responding police. The suspect was injured, and captured on video being led to an ambulance, bloodied and handcuffed.
Chief: Our hearts go out to all families impacted. There are 10 fatalities. She identified slain Police Officer Eric Talley, who was one of the first on the scene. She calls officer's actions "heroic."

Police/coroner will not release names of other victims until families have been notified. Chief says she knows there are families waiting in anguish to hear about loved ones:

Local, state an federal agencies are on scene and prepared to comb through every detail of this incident.
Simple trips to the grocery store can, sadly, be deadly. As a concealed carry website, we know this and teach daily, so that people can better prepare themselves for day to day life. While coming into contact with a gunman is rare, it does happen and can happen quickly.
