Domestic Violence Incident Turns Into Father Shooting Daughter’s Attacker

O’FALLON, MISSOURI — A 45-year-old man lost a battle when he allegedly started a domestic violence encounter with a woman.

Another man, the woman’s father, was at the same location when things went down. He took matters into his own hands.

When officers arrived, they learned there had been a domestic violence incident between [Juan] Ante and a 43-year-old woman. The woman’s father was also there and he reportedly fired a handgun in defense of his daughter.

Ante is said to have lived at the home with the woman, whom was attacked, and her father.

Local media reports that Ante had a criminal background, including a domestic violence conviction which landed him in prison.
