Detroit Concealed Carrier Quickly Shows The Bad Guys That He’s Not A Victim

DETROIT, MICHIGAN — A 22-year-old concealed carrier was the target of an armed robbery while in his vehicle outside his brother’s house, but he wasn’t about to go down without a fight.

Three robbers thought they’d picked an easy target to rob, but boy were they wrong.

A preliminary investigation found the 22-year-old man was sitting in a car outside his brother’s house in the 3000 block of Casmere about 9:30 pm. when three males dressed in black approached and demanded money, investigators said in a statement.

The man, a concealed pistol license holder, “fired one shot, striking one of the suspects,” according to the release.

The suspect was shot in the arm and transported to the hospital, and the sent on his way to jail. The two others took off and have not yet been found.

That’s where this story ends. You’d hope that –at least– the man shot would wise up after this near-deadly encounter, but only time will tell if he continues down the thug path.

The world is a place where anything can happen, good and bad. It’s better to be smart and armed than vulnerable and a victim.
