Vegas Mass Shooting: 1 Year Later

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history. I was in New York City with my fiancee, and she woke me up early in the morning to tell me the news.

I opened my phone as I sat up in bed and could only say one thing. “Holy shit.”

I’m going to go over a dialog, and I hope you can appreciate where I’m taking this short post.

Do you remember the gunman’s name?

Now; Do you remember any names of the 58 people killed, or any of the names of the 800+ injured?

Our policy is to never publish the names or photos of mass gunmen, and it holds true to this day. Let’s not give them any thought to their personal information, but rather remember the multitude of victims that came out of this terrible incident.

A good guy with a gun would have likely not stopped this man from doing what he did, and some stories do not have much reason behind them. The motive, to this day, has never been established.

Let’s just come to reality and say that certain people are evil, do not possess any concrete motive, and focus on better securing ourselves, families and friends.
