Teens Assault Pregnant Delivery Driver During Robbery, Armed Man Comes Out Of His Home To End It

ATLANTA, GEORGIA — An expecting mother was making a pizza delivery when she was jumped by three teens who came out from behind the house. At least one was armed.

One of the suspects reportedly began hitting her with his gun and demanding she give him her car keys. The woman fled down the street, but the suspects caught her and continued assaulting her, according to police.

That’s when Dennis Madaris heard a woman’s screams outside his home, so he grabbed his gun and went to investigate.

Madaris spoke with reporters about what happened next.

When I came around the corner here, I saw three people were beating on this lady. One of them had a gun. One of them turned around and he had a gun in his hand. I told him, ‘Drop the gun or I will drop you!’ And they threw the gun down and all three of them took off.

Police would later catch up with the teens and they all face a healthy list of charges.

Thanks to this armed citizen’s quick response, this pregnant woman was able to get away and see an end to the assault.

Getting involved in an incident is sometimes a no-brainer. If this were me, I would have come to the woman’s aid as well. This is a clear case of defense of another person, and we’re glad that this armed citizen was there and willing to fight.
