Credit Where Credit Is Due: Chris Cuomo Did Something I Can Stand Behind

Published

I’m in the beautiful Adirondacks in New York for a week, and was rocked today by the mass shooting that took place in Maryland where five people lost their lives.

I’ve been writing articles and watching the news in the background. While flipping through channels, I landed on CNN and Chris Cuomo. The second I hit the channel, Cuomo said something along the lines of;

I’m not going to give the suspect the time of day to even mention his name. It’s not worth it.

That’s not an exact quote, but you get the idea.

I’ve targeted the Cuomo brothers in the past due to their gun control stances and the relentless push for more laws, but I have to give credit where credit is due.

Whoever it is, it shouldn’t matter. If more media picked up this practice of not mentioning the suspect in these mass shootings, we’d see a drop in them. Guaranteed.
