Armed Citizen Shoots Alleged Attacker At Kroger Gas Station Pump

Published

ARLINGTON, TENNESSEE — An armed citizen was attacked by a man with a metal bar and pair of pliers while he sat in his car at a Kroger gas pump. That attacker was shot twice; once in the abdomen and once in the face.

The incident happened 11pm Saturday night, and police are calling it a case of self-defense after speaking with the man who was attacked.

The suspect survived the sustained wounds and is still in the hospital. He was recently upgraded to ‘stable’ condition.

Back in 2014 and 2015, the gun control group Mom’s Demand Action put Kroger in the spotlight by asking them to ban the open carry of firearms at their locations. The CEO responded, saying that they would not implement such a rule.
