When One Door Closes, Another One… Get’s Kicked In? Homeowner Fatally Shoots Intruder After Door Gets Kicked In

Published

TULSA, OKLAHOMA — Who knows the circumstances surrounding this, but a 44-year-old was fatally shot after he kicked in the door of another man’s house.  According to Muskogee, the man briefly spoke with the homeowner before the homeowner closed the door on him.  The man then kicked open the door and was shot four times.  He escaped into his SUV which had a 3-year-old in the backseat and drove several yards before collapsing and crashing into a parked car.  By the time police arrived, he was pronounced dead.  The 3-year-old was thankfully unharmed and was placed into the custody of her relatives.

Police say the two men knew each other prior to the event.

It’s unfortunate that this situation had to come to this.

Self-defense isn’t always pretty.  There’s people out there that legitimately don’t think or consider the well-being of others before acting.  And it’s impossible to know the length those idiots will go before being put down.

The hardest part, for me, was that a 3-year-old had to lay witness to this absolute $#*tshow.  The homeowner didn’t do anything wrong — that guy kicked in his door.  But now that 3-year-old has to deal with the trauma of having to see a relative be gunned down and try to escape only to jeopardize that kid’s life.

What a world, right?
