I bought one back in the 90`s to leave at my lake cabin just in case it was broken into or stolen , I paid $125 new at the gun show . after putting many rounds through it I actually would rather shoot it than my beretta 92fs which cost $650 . while it would be too heavy and bulky for conceal carry the heavy weight in my opinion makes it a great shooter. I am consistently a better shot than with the 92 for some reason. I would also rather have the hi-point than ANY plastic gun made, ever see the video of the dog that chewed up the guys glock ? sure he shouldn’t have just left it laying around but lets see a dog chew up a hi-point it will not happen.
