Sometimes, things get weird. After all, this is the internet. In a freshly created protest against campus carry in Texas, hundreds of University of Texas at Austin students are set to carry… you guessed it… dildos around with them.
Using the hashtag #cocksnotglocks, creator Jessica Jin is setting out to make a statement on her opposition of students carrying firearms in the classroom.
“‘You’re carrying a gun to class? Yeah well I’m carrying a HUGE DILDO,'” Lin says in the group’s description. “Just about as effective at protecting us from sociopathic shooters, but much safer for recreational play.”
Anyone looking to participate is going to need to be patient, as the protest doesn’t start until August 24 2016.

The State of Texas has decided that it is not at all obnoxious to allow deadly concealed weapons in classrooms, however it DOES have strict rules about free sexual expression, to protect your innocence. You would receive a citation for taking a DILDO to class before you would get in trouble for taking a gun to class. Heaven forbid the penis.
All jokes aside, self-defense isn’t a laughing matter. I know of a few people who probably wish they were able to defend themselves recently. A dildo likely wouldn’t have helped.
Remember: bad guys with guns are the ones to worry about, not the law-abiding who choose to carry a firearm.
