Man Kicks In Door To House, Runs To Neighbor’s House For Help After Being Shot

Published

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA — A brother to a mother of a child of an angry father stood ready to defend them when that father busted in through the front door.

ABC News delivers scant clues as to why the man was trying to bust in through the front door or why the woman’s brother vigilantly stood guard over the family.  What is known is that after the door came down, police say the brother discharged two rounds – one striking the assailant.

After being struck, somehow the attacker must have forgotten he was on the wrong side of the law and ran to a neighbor’s house for help.  The brother pursued.  By the time police arrived, the assailant was taken to the hospital with no further word on his condition.

The brother was not arrested or charged and nobody’s names were released.
