Your First Time Firing A Gun: Share Your Experience

Your first time ever firing a gun. Do you remember it?

My father had convinced me to go to the range with him to shoot one day, years ago. I never had before, because I was a little terrified of firearms. It wasn’t until after learning about them and shooting one for the first time, that my concerns would be eased.

My first firearm ever shot was a Ruger .22 revolver. The photo above is of my sister, shooting the same Ruger. I still shoot it often today. I remember pulling the trigger for the first time, and I remember my father saying “wait”, while he double-checked my grip. Then, bang.

And, here we are today.
