[VIDEO] Clerk Grabs Gun From Robber, Fights And Shoots

This video shows a brave young clerk fighting off two robbers that are masked when they enter the store.  It happened on Friday, 27 February, 2015,  in a tobacco store in Lexington, Kentucky.   As one robber is trying to grab cash from the register, he puts down a small handgun.  While I can not clearly identify it, it looks similar to a RG-14.   The clerk, 21-year-old Ara Adil, grabs the pistol, and one robber runs off.  Then the remaining suspect attacks the clerk.  As they wrestle, she shoots him in the shoulder.

He still does not give up.   At one point he agrees to leave, but then attempts to grab the cash on the way out.   The clerk is having none of it.  She tackles him, and he ends up leaving the store empty handed.  The clerk still has possession of the pistol at the end of the video.

The robber is very lucky that he did not end up dead.  A clerk with a little more training would have kept shooting.
