[VIDEO] Woman Hit By Falling Bullet On New Years Eve In FL

Call the MythBusters, because they need to change their findings regarding falling bullets. While this young woman was not killed by the bullet, I don’t see why it couldn’t happen. A story referenced in the video above shows just how dangerous a falling bullet can be.

20-year-old Kaitlyn Jacobs was at Busch Gardens with her father when she felt something hit her leg. They went to the hospital where an x-ray showed a bullet that had been lodged in her leg, thought to have come from celebratory gunfire that didn’t even occur in the immediate area. In other words, someone fired a shot into the air and the bullet found it’s way into Jacobs’ leg.

What goes up, must come down. It’s one of the most irresponsible things that a person can do with a firearm.
