[FIREARM REVIEW] Glock 19 Gen3 Review for Concealed Carry

Range time with the Glock 19 is nothing but absolute fun! A 15 round standard magazine is so easy to empty quickly when at the range. A firearm that has not had a single failure to feed, jam or hiccup is a thing of beauty. Yes, I know that it could happen at anytime. That is why you train for occurrences like that so when the time comes, you will be ready to clear it and move on. I have heard of people buying Glocks and having to “break them in”. But that was never the case with mine.

The aforementioned soft muzzle rise allows accurate on target use and the quick reset of the trigger is what makes down range shooting a joy! I am extremely grateful to Gaston Glock for designing such a thing!

Cleaning a Glock is almost a thing of magic! It’s simplistic design lets it be broken down into 4 easy parts- the body, the slide, the barrel and the main spring. Disassembly and Assembly are so easy, my nine year old son could tell me how to do it after viewing the steps once from a YouTube video! I do try to clean my firearm after every use at the range, even though it is widely known that a lot of owners will not clean theirs often just because they are so rugged and well made.

All because of this simple tool called the Glock 19 Generation 3- I have become a true Glock fanatic. I really wouldn’t have it any other way. From the ease of concealability to the satisfaction in knowing that if I had to deploy this firearm to protect myself or my family that it would perform as needed is a true comfort to a father, husband and member of Concealed Nation.

As always- be safe and shoot straight!
